The chewing gum is an ambiguous element. it is undoubtedly the symbol of mass society consumerism which is consumed fleetingly without bringing any nourishment but at the same time has a not indifferent sacral and corporal aspect. Due to its ambivalence of form, it has been used and exhibited on various occasions and contexts.
La chewing gum è un elemento ambiguo. E’ indubbiamente il simbolo del consumismo della società di massa che viene consumato fugacemente senza portare alcun nutrimento al nostro stomaco ma allo stesso tempo ha un aspetto sacrale e corporale non indifferente. Per questa sua ambivalenza di forma è stata utilizzata ed esposta in varie occasioni e contesti.
